Painting makes children bright
Painting with young children not only helps their creative development but it also stimulates their brain. Stimulating children’s brain can also help other areas of their development.
When setting up a painting activity for young children, stop and think about what areas of children’s development it may be helping. Most children enjoy a good messy painting experience,
this will allow them to freely express themselves and develop their creativity. As Early Childhood Educators we discover that painting becomes much more than just a simple activity.
Painting is a way for children to do many important things: convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore color, explore process and outcomes, enhance pincher grasp, create
aesthetically pleasing works and experiences and much more. ( Kelly)
That’s why we at The Lil Cottage Educational Daycare do painting everyday inside and outside the classroom.

Camille S,mother of Elon,age 3
We really enjoy having Elon at The Lil Cottage. The teachers are caring and responsive, and the small class size made it easy for the children to bond with each other. Elon always takes home crafts and we felt he got the individual attention he needs for his development. We would recommend The Lil Cottage to others.

Lil Cottage Daycare was a great first experience for our 3 year old daughter. The staff warm, welcoming manner put our daughter and us (the parents) at ease. Alodene has set up a great space for the children with a variety of activities and lots of outdoor time. Our daughter was always excited to go and made many good friendships. We would highly recommend Lil Cottage Daycare for all your child’s needs. Thank you Alodene and staff for making our daughter’s first introduction to daycare so positive!
Lets work together to enhance your child development
by enrolling them in our Educational Daycare.
