At The Lil’ Cottage Educational Daycare, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family. We are delighted that you have taken an interest in our educational daycare program! Our program serves children from 14 months to 5 years of age. Wherever your child is within this age range, we are committed to supporting their growth and helping them learn new skills appropriate to their developmental stage. We provide a nurturing, enriching environment designed to support each child’s overall development — socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Our daily routine introduces children to a gentle structure with thoughtfully planned activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and independence. Through purposeful play and early learning experiences, we help prepare children for their next stage of development, often including a confident transition to kindergarten. At The Lil’ Cottage, we believe that childhood should be joyful. Through social interaction, hands-on play, and engaging activities, each child is encouraged to build a positive self-image and develop confidence in a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment.

Our Philosophy

At The Lil’ Cottage Educational Daycare, we believe it is essential that every child receives the highest quality care in a loving, faith-centered environment. As a small, home-like daycare, each child is known, valued, and given the individual attention they need to grow and thrive. We are proud to be an educational daycare where learning happens naturally through play and meaningful experiences. Our play-based program supports the whole child — socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively — while nurturing confidence, creativity, independence, and a strong sense of belonging. Our educators create warm, engaging spaces filled with open-ended materials that encourage exploration, imagination, and discovery. Through intentional play, we observe children’s interests, ask thoughtful questions, and guide learning to support early literacy, language development, problem-solving, and positive social skills.
